It is hard to believe but the Endeavor: Age of Expansion campaign is coming to a close. With only 3 hours and change left to go, we're excited about all that we have accomplished.

Ahoy Backers!

We've got a summer and fall line up full of Endeavor: Age of Sail and Endeavor: Age of Expansion. And we wanted to share it with you!

UK Games Expo

We've heard from our favourite partners, Grand Gamers Guild, that Endeavor: Age of Sail and Age of Expansion was on fire this weekend!! Thanks for sharing in a very exciting time with us. If you were there and got to spend some time with GGG, tell us how your experience was in the comments on this update!

Origins (Columbus, Ohio, USA)

Both Burnt Island Games (in the Kids Table Board Gaming booth #158) and Grand Gamers Guild (booth # 331) will be there demoing both Endeavor: Age of Sail and Age of Expansion at our booths. Please come see us! Outside of the Vendor Hall, Grand Gaming Academy will be demoing the game.

Gen Con (Indianapolis, Indiana, USA)

Both Burnt Island Games (in the KTBG booth #2106) and Grand Gamers Guild (booth #2108) will be there right next to one another. Grand Gaming Academy is running 15 Endeavor: Age of Sail demos. Every single one of them is sold out except for this one. There is room for 4 players at this table. Feel free to check out of it is still open by the time you get to it. Just like at Origins, if you visit us at our booths, we'd be more than happy to play a round or two with you.

FanExpo (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

Burnt Island Games will be at FanExpo in downtown Toronto. We will not have a booth, but would be happy to meet up to play a game with you. Let us know if you want play with us!

GrandCon (Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA)

Both Burnt Island Games and Grand Gamers Guild will be present at the convention, but neither of our companies will have a booth. Come find us to play a game.

Essen Spiel (Essen, Germany)

Grand Gamers Guild will be at Essen. They will have demos of Endeavor: Age of Sail and Age of Expansion at their booth. More info is forthcoming.

PAX Unplugged (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA)

This will be the second year that Burnt Island Games and Grand Gamers Guild will be sharing a space at the convention. This time, we'll be in a space big enough for us to demo many games for you. We'll update you with info as it comes. 

We really hope to catch you at some point this summer, especially on the forthcoming Endeavor: Age of Expansion Kickstarter campaign. If you would like to be notified when we launch, sign up here.

Another Update, Dice Tower Awards, and Our First Run-through

Ahoy Backers,

This one is going to be short and sweet! We wanted to send you an update to tell you that Endeavor: Age of Sail has been nominated for a Dice Tower Award in the Best Reprint category. We are incredibly excited and humbled by this. We are up against some very good games, and wish them best of luck!

Ahoy Backers! 

This is it! Endeavor: Age of Sail officially has an expansion - Endeavor: Age of Expansion. Check it out here on BGG! While you're at it, why don't you give a THUMB to the box cover image:

In Endeavor: Age of Expansion, players will take the mechanics they know and love, and use them with a entirely new set of fifteen building types and seven decks of Asset cards for all-new gameplay and interaction.

The new building market creates a totally different strategic experience within the same rule set. Most of the actions on the buildings are familiar, but new concepts include Trade, Fortify, and Conscription & Mobilization.

Age of Expansion also comes with a new set of Asset cards. All of the cards feature a new and interesting distribution of symbols, and many of them introduce game changing effects!

Designed by Jarratt Gray, Endeavor: Age of Expansion​ is for 2-5 players, ages 13+, plays in approximately 90 minutes, and requires the base game to play. It will be launching on Kickstarter on June 18, 2019, with fulfillment in late late Spring/early Summer 2020.
